On the other hand, cyber attacks are deliberate exploitation of computer systems, technology-dependent devices and networks. Cyber attacks use malicious codes to alter computer codes, logic or data, etc that can be used to steal confidential data and identity. Cyber attacks are also known as “computer network attack (CNA )” and range from website defacing, password sniffing, breach of access, etc.
So, I am going to share some ways to prevent your devices and laptops from viruses and cyber attacks.

2. Turn your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi off until when needed: Turning off any inter-device file exchange services of your device until when needed can help save our devices from virus attacks.
3. Choose reliable antivirus programs: choosing antivirus programs thet have internet security and real time scanning features can help save our devices from virus attacks. Notable antivirus softwares include Kaspersky antivirus, Avast! , McAfee, etc. Some of them are free while some offer advanced features when payments are made for them.
4. Only download softwares from trusted sources: Device maker app stores are examples of trusted sources. Some viruses accompany softwares when downloaded from sources that have no virus protection. Therefore, downloading from trusted sources can help save our devices from virus attacks.
Ways to save your device from cyber attacks:
1. Set a passcode: Set a strong passcode so that even if the device is lost, your data cannot be accessed easily.
2. Downloading from trusted sources: This Can also save you from cyber attacks. In 2014, a virus called mosquito which sends messages without your notice, infected devices when certain games were downloaded from sources that are not trusted.
3. Backing up and securing data can also help save your device from cyber attacks.
4. wiping out data from your device before selling or dashing them off can save you from cyber attacks.
5. Changing your online passwords regularly can also save you from cyber attacks.
6. Also, avoid providing your identity info to online users that you don’t trust and are not genuine.
