To avoid much stories,
follow the steps below to increase the RAM of your bluestacks
:
Step 1:
Navigate to the folder C:Program FilesBlueStacks and run the file “HD-Quit.exe” to stop all BlueStacks services and processes.
NOTE:for windows 7 users, go to C:Program Files(x86)BlueStacks
Step 2:
Press Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type in regedit > click on OK to open the Registry Editor > click on Yes if prompted by the User Account Control.
Step 3:
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREBlueStacksGuestsAndroid
Step 4:
On the right side pane, double click on the Memory string.
Step 5:
Change the Base option to Decimal mode.
Input the value you want to allocate (in megabytes) for RAM into the Value data field > click OK > exit Registry Editor.
Note: If we enter the value of 1024 (1 GB), the BlueStacks RAM size will be increased to 850 MB.
Now launch your BlueStacks application and the speed will greatly improve
