Payoneer two-step verification is a feature that allows Payoneer users to make sure that activities carried out on their account are actually done with their notice. The trend of cybercrimes and thefts are on the increase with many online accounts hacked and millions of dollars swindled by these faceless thieves.

two-step verification is a new feature that Payoneer is adding to its platform in a bid to fulfill their mandate of making the world a better place through a secured platform. With this feature, you’ll need to enter a unique verification code that will be sent to you before performing certain account/card related actions and financial transactions.
According to a mail sent to its users, Payoneer made this known yesterday.
In previous times, you just need to be logged in to your account from any device, and then you can send money and make certain data-sensitive details of a user without additional security. This led to the theft and massive banning of accounts by the Fintech giant in recent months.
It can be recalled that in the last two months, Payoneer added a feature that allows notifications to be sent to its mobile users and another that allows them to share their email and account details easily through the mobile app. This makes it easier and faster for someone to receive money without having to log in to their website version of the service. Other features of the mobile version as can be recalled include:
refer a friend and get paid
instant check of account data
fingerprint feature and
in-app notification of only transaction-related activities on the account.
You can read more about it here.
To provide you with a smooth experience, make sure the primary phone number listed in your account is your current mobile phone number by clicking on your account details and enabling the feature.
