- Removed pallets, assembled product containers, and crates using powered lift trucks, electric pallet jack and cherry picker.
- Marked stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Examined and inspected stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Maintained advanced product knowledge to correctly assist co-workers and accurately administer inventory control procedures.
- Managing and integrating deliveries into existing inventories, supporting and training fellow employees on inventory management procedures, and logging daily activities for the supervisor’s review.
- Demonstrating excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
- Transports merchandise, material, and pallets safely throughout the club. Utilizes a pallet jack as needed
- Maintains all company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned and works in other departments as needed.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Prior forklift operating experience
- Attention to safety
- The ability to estimate weights, heights, and distances
- Good numeracy skills
